Understanding the cause of blackleg stem and branch cankers

In recent years, blackleg infection has affected the upper stems and branches of canola plants leading to yield loss as branches and pods on affected plants senesce prematurely causing yield loss. Steve Marcroft explains the factors researchers now believe are causing cankers on stems and branches of canola crops.
