Pragya is a Research Scientist with Agriculture Victoria, based at Horsham, working on developing new resistance germplasm against biotic stresses in pulses. The diseases she focuses her research on are Bacterial blight, Botrytis Grey mould and Ascochyta blight. She has 15 years of research experience in both biotic and abiotic stresses and worked in leading institutes in Israel and Canada before moving to Australia. She is also working towards developing high throughput phenotyping assays for controlled environments for different diseases.
