Using Potassium to put more profit on the bottom line

Potassium nutrition is a key part of crop agronomy. Under the GRDC’s More Profit from Crop Nutrition program, Professor Richard Bell from Murdoch University and collaborators investigated Potassium (K) nutrition in Western Australia; to help growers and advisors better understand crop responses to K inputs in different situations.

A free webinar, presented by Prof. Bell, on the key research outcomes relevant to the management of K in crops:

  • The impact of K on susceptibility of wheat to frost
  • Managing K inputs in dry conditions
  • The substitution of K by sodium (Na) in certain environments
  • The value of subsoil K and it’s distribution in the profile.
